I listen, act, and transform
Hi, I'm Jennifer Hodge, LCSW.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, especially if you've spent years trying to manage everything on your own. Whether you're struggling with ADHD, healing from trauma, navigating anxiety, or recovering from a high-conflict or narcissistic relationship, you don't have to do it alone.
As a licensed clinical social worker and EMDR-trained therapist, I specialize in helping children, teens, and adults understand themselves more deeply, heal from painful experiences, and build practical skills that create lasting change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, trauma-informed, and individualized because I believe therapy should never be one-size-fits-all.
ADHD is more than just one of my specialties—it's something I live every day. As a woman, wife, mother, business owner, and therapist with ADHD, I understand firsthand both the challenges and the incredible strengths that can come with a neurodivergent brain. Like many of my clients, I've experienced the overwhelm, self-doubt, and feeling of wondering if I'll ever have it all together. I've also learned that healing isn't about becoming someone else—it's about understanding how your brain works, building systems that support you, and learning to embrace what I lovingly call our "Neuro Sparkly" qualities.
As the parent of neurodivergent children, I also understand the unique joys and challenges families face. My goal is to partner with parents, helping them better understand their child's needs while providing children and teens with practical tools to improve emotional regulation, executive functioning, confidence, relationships, and resilience.
Trauma-informed care is at the heart of everything I do. Trauma doesn't only include major life events—it can also stem from experiences that left you feeling unsafe, unseen, or believing things about yourself like "I'm not good enough," "I'm not safe," or "I don't matter." I strive to create a safe, supportive environment where healing can happen at your own pace. I am also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that has helped many of my clients find relief from the lasting effects of trauma, anxiety, and distressing life experiences.
I am especially passionate about supporting survivors of narcissistic abuse and high-conflict relationships. Whether you're coping with an unhealthy partner, difficult family member, co-parent, workplace relationship, or are trying to rebuild after leaving, therapy can help you regain confidence, establish healthy boundaries, process your experiences, and reconnect with the person you were before the relationship began to define you.
What makes my practice unique is my commitment to meeting each client where they are. Therapy may include traditional talk therapy, EMDR, creative and sensory-based interventions, play-based activities, executive functioning strategies, mindfulness, nervous system regulation, or hands-on tools tailored to your unique strengths, needs, and goals.
Sessions take place in my welcoming boutique RV office, intentionally designed to feel comfortable, calming, and far less clinical than a traditional therapy setting. My hope is that every person who walks through my door feels safe, accepted, understood, and celebrated exactly as they are.
Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you as you heal, grow, and discover that you are capable of so much more than you may believe today.
